How Wikicraft uses cookies and similar technologies and how you can manage your preferences.
Cookies are small text files that a site stores on your device and reads again on later visits. Some services use similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage: this policy covers both. On your first visit, the banner lets you accept all cookies, accept only the necessary ones or choose by category. The buttons have the same weight, and closing the banner with the X keeps only the technical cookies. Until you choose, no analytics or marketing script loads and no cookie is set. We store your choice for 182 days and ask again only when it expires or when the services we use change.
Our forms and the Wikipedia assessment are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. It loads only when you start using a form or the assessment, regardless of your cookie choices, because without it the forms cannot be protected from automated programs. reCAPTCHA can read and set technical data in the storage of the google.com domain, listed in the table below. Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
The Wikipedia assessment adds no cookies of its own: Wikimedia and our language model are contacted by our server, not by your browser. Events about completed assessments and reports reach Google Analytics only with analytics consent and Meta only with marketing consent. The unsubscribe page sets no cookies, and the report emails contain no tracking pixels.

Durations are those stated by the providers, who may change them. "First party" means the item is stored under the domain of this site.
You can change your choices at any time with the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent we delete the analytics and marketing cookies and reload the page, so the related scripts stop. You can also delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings; doing so on this site also resets your choices, and the banner appears again.
Third-party cookies are governed by the providers' policies: how Google uses data from sites that use its services, the Meta Cookie Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy. Transfers of data outside the EU are described in the Privacy Policy.
